The world of business and especially the world of advertising has never been in stagnation: wise enterpreneurs have always found ways out of any crisis and this crisis is not an exception. You have definitely saw or even take part at traditional trade shows or even exhibitions where many companies (depends on the niche, of course) come out with their innovative ideas and the proposals. At the same time in order to gain public attention they initiate promotional campaigns that include the distribution of promotional items and other tiny things that are given free of charge to anyone who approaches their stand. Promotional items can be different and they do not always coincide with the theme of a trade show. For instance, at Geneva Auto Exhibition Toyota and BMW have started distributing custom t-shirts and pens with their logos absolutely for free! At the same time this action is considered rather a childish affair from the point of view of dealers and serious CEOs. But, anyway, these guys are forcign people to wear their logos and advertise their brands! I said they are forcing? No way! People decide for themselves but they adore a t-shirt with BMW logo – this shows not just love and respect to the German auto producer but this also makes people feel that they are in some way a part of the biggest team! Custom caps with Mercedes logo enjoyed their enormous popularity and this was a real success for another German car producer. So if even auto giants refer to promotional items why should you deny this type of advertising?
